1. What are you doing after high school?I am attending Ivy Tech Terre Haute to get my associates in sonography. 2. Favorite IASC event and why?My favorite IASC event was SLI. It really brought me out of my shell, helped my leadership skills, and I made a lot of friends that I’m still in contact with. 3. How will your experience with the IASC help you in the future? My experience with the IASC will help me in the future in many ways. 1. What are you doing after high school? I'll be attending Purdue University and will be in the Exploratory Studies program where I will hopefully find a career I love.2. Favorite IASC event and why?State Convention. I love seeing all the leaders across Indiana come together to brainstorm new ideas and make new connections.3. How will your experience with the IASC help you in the future? The IASC has taught me so much. I've gained social, public speaking, communication skills and so many more that have helped me get into college and will help me find a job in my career field. The skills that I now obtain will forever be ones that I use on a day to day basis, whether it is in my professional or personal life. I have made so many connections along the way, can problem solve on a moment's notice and can lead groups in activities successfully. Running for an IASC position was a huge challenge for me, I was a shy kid who loved leadership and now I am a young woman who can speak to a room of 300 plus people without batting an eye.The IASC has been a huge contributor to who I am as a leader and I am proud to have served at the state level, it has made me who I am today. I have grown immensely and my learning though the IASC will continue to help me prosper as a person.
